Your Designation...
We all aspire to climb up our professional ladders. It is God’s intention that we will be above and not beneath. But never allow the worldly designation impress you more that the designation that God has given you. The moment we receive Jesus as a personal savior He gives us the designation as “Son of God”.
John 1:12 says: But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: This designation we have received is valid for all eternity. It is by this designation we have been give authority to trample the forces of darkness. Are we so much caught up with the world designation that we take the designation God has gives us so lightly? 1 John 3:1 says: How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Can you pause for a moment and realize how great the love our God has lavished on us. We are the Children of the only True God!!! Worldly designations can be earned. We can work hard and probably have our wishes fulfilled. But the designation that God gives us is by grace. All of our efforts put together can never attain this. 1 Corinthians 6:17 says: But he who unites himself with the Lord is one with him in spirit. Can you imagine being one in spirit with God? The truth is we are. God does not play games. Along with any designation comes the role and authority. Let’s mediate few of the things God has given us: Matthew 18: 18"I tell you the truth, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. 19"Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. John 14: 12I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. 14You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it. Matthew 10:8 Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. Luke 10:19 I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. May God give a deeper revelation of these scriptures. May we truly rise and live as the “Sons of the Most High God” for the glory of His Majesty. Amen!!!. |
